EasySwatch

Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: July 16, 2026

Short version: EasySwatch does not have user accounts, advertising, analytics, or an EasySwatch database of user information. Your palettes and paint edits stay in your browser unless you choose to connect Dropbox. If you connect Dropbox, the browser syncs those files directly with your Dropbox App Folder.

What this policy covers

This policy explains how EasySwatch handles information when you use the EasySwatch website and its optional Dropbox connection.

Information stored in your browser

EasySwatch uses browser storage, including local storage and IndexedDB, to make the application work. Depending on the features you use, this can include:

This browser data stays on that device and in that particular browser or installed web app. EasySwatch does not send it to an EasySwatch-operated server. Clearing browser data can remove it.

Optional Dropbox connection

Connecting Dropbox is optional. EasySwatch uses Dropbox OAuth and requests access to basic Dropbox account information and to the EasySwatch App Folder. It does not request access to the rest of your Dropbox.

When connected, EasySwatch can read, create, update, list, and delete its palette, Paint Master, and synchronization files inside the EasySwatch App Folder. These requests go directly from your browser to Dropbox. EasySwatch uses the basic account information only to show which Dropbox account is connected.

Dropbox handles information under the Dropbox Privacy Policy. You can disconnect EasySwatch from its Storage Settings. You can also review or remove connected apps in your Dropbox account settings. Disconnecting stops EasySwatch from accessing Dropbox but does not automatically delete files already stored in your Dropbox App Folder.

Website hosting

EasySwatch is a static website hosted using Cloudflare. EasySwatch does not operate an application server that receives or stores your palettes, Paint Master, Dropbox authorization, or Dropbox account information. As the hosting and security provider, Cloudflare may process ordinary technical request information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as an IP address, browser information, requested resources, and request times. Cloudflare’s handling of that information is described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Cookies, analytics, advertising, and sales

EasySwatch does not use advertising trackers or analytics services and does not sell or rent personal information. EasySwatch uses browser storage for application data rather than for advertising. Dropbox and Cloudflare may use their own cookies or similar technologies when providing their services, subject to their policies.

How information is used and shared

Information handled by EasySwatch is used only to provide the features you request: editing palettes and paints, remembering your work, printing swatch sheets, and optionally synchronizing with Dropbox. EasySwatch does not share this information with advertisers or data brokers. Information is exchanged with Dropbox only when you choose to connect Dropbox, and ordinary website requests are handled by Cloudflare as described above.

Retention and your choices

Because EasySwatch does not maintain a user-account database, there generally is no separate EasySwatch server record for us to retrieve, correct, or delete.

Security

The hosted EasySwatch site uses HTTPS, and Dropbox authorization uses OAuth with PKCE. No method of local or online storage is perfectly secure, so users should protect access to their devices and Dropbox accounts.

Children

EasySwatch is a general-audience art tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If EasySwatch’s information practices change, this page will be updated and the “last updated” date above will be revised.
